UX Researcher

Qualitative UX Researcher conducting strategic, tactical, and evaluative research.

2015 - 2019

University of Munich (LMU)

PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) Human-Computer Interaction

I conducted research at the intersection of qualitative UX evaluation (interviews, think aloud, focus groups, observation, ethnography...), method triangulation, design research & culturally sensitive UX design. I collaborated with different companies to develop and test new UX evaluation concepts.

2015 - 2018

Management Team and Lecturer

At CDTM in Munich I tought Trend Research, UX Evaluation, and Basics of HCI as part of the honors degree Technology Management. Apart from that, I was responsible for the marketing & branding initiatives (leading a team of 16 students).

Visiting Student Researcher

During my research term abroad I took courses in the fields of interface aesthetics, usability evaluation & data science and conducted an interview study to understand how Machine Learning can support UX research processes for the evaluation of user interfaces.

My internship at the Detecon San Francisco office was all about identifying, evaluating, and reporting upcoming technology trends. In addition, I worked on a market taxonomy for an arabic client and the experience concept of an automotive purchasing process.

In my Bachelor's program I took various courses in the field of product development and production strategy. In my Bachelor's Thesis I developed a concept for strategic product planning of future automobiles in dynamic environments.

In my internship at BMW I supported the strategy and structure planning department in the creation of executive presentations as well as the organization of the annual strategy meeting for the BMW production division.
